Please read the following 12 words:

    Farm       Soil       Crops

    Earth      Potato   Tractor

    Rain       Mud      Fertilizer

    Tomato  Barn      Dust


Memory consists of many interesting phenomena. To have a memory, we must first encode information into a form that we can store. We must then place that encoded information into a meaningful "location" in our memory. Finally, we must find that information among the tens or hundreds of thousands of memories we accumulate over the years.
